Vacancy: Executive Assistant

Our team is growing

The CRREM Foundation is searching for a new colleague to help us ensure our operations run smoothly. This is a flexible, remote-friendly position (preference for someone based in the Netherlands), perfect for someone who loves keeping operations organized and wants to contribute to meaningful climate action.

What you'll help with

Invoicing & Finance Support

  • Prepare and issue invoices to license partners and other clients
  • Track incoming payments and follow-up on outstanding invoices
  • Support bookkeeping and liaise with external accountants as needed
  • Assist in preparing budget and income/expense summaries


Travel & Meeting Planning

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars
  • Prepare itineraries and relevant briefing materials


Expense Logging & Reporting

  • Collect and review receipts and expense reports
  • Enter expenses into accounting software or spreadsheets


Website & Content Updates

  • Update website content, documents, and event listings
  • Coordinate with web developers or IT providers for technical updates or issues
  • Support preparation and posting of newsletters or announcements


General Administrative Support

  • Draft communications and presentations
  • Organize digital files and maintain records
  • Assist with board meetings, event planning, projects, and other operational tasks as needed

Who you are

  • Previous experience in an administrative, operations, or executive assistant role (experience with NGOs, non-profits, or sustainability-focused organizations a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and cloud tools (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Familiarity with invoicing, bookkeeping, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive mindset and good team player
