Open-access market infrastructure for CRREM assessment

The complete, documented foundation for a CRREM assessment. Any investor can use it, any service provider can apply it with clients, any auditor can check against it, any market participant can read it — regardless of budget or technical capability. Commercial platforms that integrate CRREM into their own products do so via a License Partner agreement.

Working with a coding assistant?
Drop the Technical Blueprint into Claude, GPT, or Codex as context. Schema and prose, no parsing required. The Blueprint is the specification your assistant reads to learn how CRREM works; the reference fixtures are worked input/output examples it can use to check its math against ours.

Version history for the open-access Library. Entries marked Affects results change what an assessment computes — re-check any assessment built on an earlier version.
  1. 29 July 2026

Adds a District Heating / Cooling emission-factor disclosure row and widens the vacancy options to cover partial vacancy extrapolated to full occupancy. Accredited Service Providers complete this table as part of their deliverables.

  2. 29 July 2026

Blueprint schema, Blueprint Markdown, reference fixtures, and the expected-outputs summary regenerated from the v1.1 workbooks. The schema now states that the district cooling factor is held flat, and the fixtures carry the v1.1 asset set and results.

  3. 28 May 2026
    Technical Blueprint v1.1 Affects results

District cooling emission factor is now held flat through 2050. Previously it declined over time, coupled to the grid (the same as district heating).

  4. 28 May 2026
Emission Factors v2.05 updated Affects results

Carrier factors refreshed to the UK Government 2025–26 conversion factors. Added biogas, wood fuels, and a separate North America carrier set (EPA-sourced).

  5. 28 May 2026

Methodology guide refreshed and aligned with the current Pathways and datasets.

  6. 30 Apr 2026
    CRREM Library v2.05

Initial open-access release: Global Pathways, emission factors, climate-zone lookups, Assessment Guide, Technical Blueprint, and Worked Examples.

Each workbook also carries a detailed, cell-level Change Log on its own sheet.
